Declutter: spice rack

• Every jar out; shelf wiped
• Smell test: faint or dusty = bin it
• Dates checked: ground spices 2-3 years, whole 4
• Duplicates merged into one jar per spice
• Salt, pepper, cooking oil stationed by the stove, not the rack
• Baking extras (vanilla, cocoa) one shelf together
• Uniform jars or labeled lids — names facing out
• Alphabetical or by-use grouping, pick one, keep it
• Empty jars recycled immediately
• Shopping rule: replace when empty, not when on sale
• One turntable or riser so back jars aren't lost
• Restock list started: what you used up this month
