• Match each cable to a device or bin it
• Old phone chargers (pre-USB-C) unless sentimental: donate
• RCA, VGA, parallel, serial: e-waste unless truly used
• Keep: one spare of each daily cable type, max
• Cables velcro-wrapped, not knotted
• Label every keeper (washi tape + pen works)
• One labeled box: spares; one pouch: travel set
• Bricks + docks tested before storing
• E-waste drop-off located; bag leaves this week
• House rule: new device in, its predecessor's cables out
